Relationship to C.M.H.A
While operating under the CMHA "umbrella" the principles of empowerment and autonomy have resulted in the development of the following relationship:

• That the Self Help Network shall plan for its ultimate autonomy according to a timetable deemed suitable by the Network and CMHA
• That the Network shall determine for itself its value system, guiding principles, decision making process and objectives.
• That the relationship between the Network and CMHA Alberta Division Board and senior staff shall be collaborative, mutual and have the nature of an equal partnership.
• That CMHA Alberta Division may provide support and advice as requested by the Network.
